Lauretta Phillips will be at the schoolhouse Friday, November 2nd at 1pm for a storytelling and you’re invited!
Ms. Phillips has been telling stories Professionally since 1987. She writes most of her own stories but her repertoire also includes folk tales, fairy tales, legends, urban tales, tall tales, small tales, cat tales, rat tales, and just plain tales. Here is a link to her website: http://www.lphillipstales.com/
The stories she will tell in this program will be age appropriate. She will engage the children in call and response stories and participation tales as well as giving them an opportunity to use their imagination. She will tell stories of nature and adventure and even a thankful tale or two.
Mrs. Debow’s public speaking class will sit in on this so even teens are encouraged to join us!
You may bring your preschool aged children but this will be geared more towards school aged children.
Donations will be accepted.
